Maggie has been practicing yoga for over 10 years since her voice teacher told her it would help strengthen her breath for singing. Having studied dance growing up, she was familiar with stretching and happy to start yoga classes as recommended. It wasn’t until she landed in Philadelphia in 2007 that she became more aware of the intense healing energies of yoga, and the spiritual journey she was actually on. Soon, she felt an even deeper calling to share these healing powers with others. She began her education by completing Reiki I with Danielle Stimpson of Learn Reiki Philadelphia and Reiki II Sean Jacobs of Jacobs Healing. After relocating home to the Jersey Shore, she intuitively made her way to the Center for Health & Healing in Toms River, NJ where she received her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Yoga Alliance. Maggie also completed a B.A. in Anthropology with a minor in Music from Temple University in 2009. Maggie teaches to help others heal holistically, to awaken the energy inside the body, mind, & spirit. She hopes to inspire others on their yogic journey by bringing life, laughter, & music to her classes. She is forever a student and seeker of knowledge.
